Saratoga County, NY –, Saratoga County District Attorney Brett Eby, announced that the Saratoga County District Attorney’s Office will host the annual Saratoga County Crime Victims’ Vigil on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Milton Community Center.
The vigil is a service of remembrance to support crime victims and their families. Community members, law enforcement, advocates, and residents are invited to attend as Saratoga County gathers in reflection, solidarity, and support. All are welcome.
The program will feature reflections from crime victim survivors, the presentation of a Public Safety Award, a candlelight ceremony, and individualized commemorative displays to honor and remember victims whose lives have been impacted by crime.
District Attorney Eby reaffirmed his office’s unwavering commitment to victims:
“Every single day, our office fights for victims. We work tirelessly to uphold their rights, amplify their voices, and seek justice on their behalf. Supporting victims is not just part of our job, it is at the very heart of what we do.”
He also emphasized the continuing responsibility his office carries beyond the courtroom:
“The role of a prosecutor does not end when a case concludes. For many victims and their families, healing is far from over. Our office remains committed to standing beside them long after the legal process is finished. Justice includes compassion, continued support, and ensuring victims know they are never alone.”
The Saratoga County Crime Victims’ Vigil serves as an opportunity for the community to come together in remembrance and reaffirm its collective commitment to justice and healing.
