Saratoga County District Attorney Karen A. Heggen announced that Scott F. Luciano (DOB 06-06-86), of 5253 Sacandaga Road, Galway, NY and Shane A. Nadolny (DOB 08/11/77) of 80 North Street, Ballston Spa, NY, plead guilty today in Saratoga County Court to Robbery in the Second Degree, in violation of section 160.10(1) of the Penal Law, a class “C” Violent Felony, before Saratoga County Court Judge James A. Murphy, III.
Scott F. Luciano and Shane A. Nadolny pleaded guilty and admitted today in Court that they forcibly stole money from a man in the City of Saratoga Springs on July 9, 2018.
District Attorney Heggen has declined to comment further on the facts of the case at this time pending sentencing in the Saratoga County Court.
The District Attorney’s Office has been in regular contact with the victim and his family throughout the proceedings. Assistant District Attorney Charles Bucca prosecuted the cases and deferred comment until sentencing, which is currently scheduled for January 30, 2019, at which time the defendants are expected to be sentenced to 5 years in prison followed by 5 years of post-release supervision.
